History
The Eurasian Association on Educational Assessment (EAOKO) was founded to consolidate, expand and promote the expert capacity of Russia and CIS in the field of education quality assessment. EAOKO was established upon the initiative of the Center for International Cooperation in Education Development (CICED), relying on the personal support of Viktor Bolotov, Vice-President of the Russian Academy of Education, Doctor of Education, member of the Russian Academy of Education, and Igor Valdman, director of the Russian Training Center. It is widely acknowledged that structure of an association has proved to be the most successful and effective establishment to unite the professional community in the area of education quality assessment.
